Red Hat's Huamin Chen has a view into the future of sustainability. At OpenShift Commons Gathering, Amsterdamn 2023, Chen gave a presentation on Project Kepler, which is just one of a few projects at the CNCF attempting to help build more efficient power management and power-aware scheduling within the platform. The hope is to save energy through efficient automation. Project Kepler, Project PEAKS and Project CLEVER are all hosted on the Sustainable Computing GitHub.
Check out Chen's talk, above, to get the full story on exactly what Kepler is about, and how it can help your organization meet its sustainability challenges.
The OpenShift Commons Gatherings take place all over the world to coincide with events that bring in Kubernetes and cloud-native developers, administrators and architects, allowing users of the OpenShift Platform to communicate their successes to each other and to share their tips and tricks for meeting business challenges along the way.
