What inspired you to be a developer?
I love to solve problems and want to make life easy for people.
Why did you choose OpenShift as your hosting platform?
I chose OpenShift because of its flexible plan and great support for wide array of technologies, though I'm Java / J2EE specialized, I also love exploring other development frameworks.
What advantages does OpenShift give you that other platforms don't?
OpenShift provides me with free gears to deploy my applications and also provides support for major technologies / frameworks with minimal configuration.

- Name: Scantranx
- What does it do? Scantranx POS is a cloud based Android Point of Sale (POS) solution with great features and tools to help retail business owners effectively manage and grow their business by selling across multiple channels (Web, Mobile & Third Party Integration seamlessly).
Scantranx Integrates Internet Commerce with Brick & Mortar Stores, thereby increasing flexibility, sales, and revenues of retails businesses.
Scantranx also provides retailers with an optional E-Commerce website & M-Commerce application that can be downloaded on all major mobile platforms (Android, IOS, Blackberry,Windows) by their customers to make orders and process transactions conveniently and securely.

- What motivated you to create this application and what problems does it solve? The motivation to create this application was the frustration most retailers faced in managing their physical stores and their online sales channels. Scantranx integrates online commerce with brick & moral stores thereby allowing retailers to manage all the sales channels from a single inventory system.
