What is OpenShift Commons?

OpenShift Commons is the open source community that has grown up around the OpenShift Origin project and has embraced a new community model that seeks to builds connections and collaboration across OpenShift communities, projects and stakeholders. Members act as resources for each other, share best practices, and provide multiple forums for peer-to-peer communication.

We are a peer-to-peer network of 315+ member organizations with weekly live Commons Briefings with Q/A and multiple Special Interest Groups that cross market sectors and technical interest focusing on sharing lessons learned, best practices, and giving feedback to the engineers and project leads working on OpenShift and it's related upstream projects.

Our goal is to enable the success of customers, users, partners, and contributors as we deepen our knowledge and experiences together and to go beyond merely encouraging code contributions. The OpenShift Commons is the place for companies using OpenShift to accelerate its success and adoption. To do this, we act as resources for each other, share best practices, and provide forums for peer-to-peer communication both in person and virtually.
