OpenShift Wins InfoWorld’s Technology of the Year Award for Second Straight Year

The year is young, but as usual, a lot is happening in the world of OpenShift. We are proud to announce that for the second year in a row we have been chosen by InfoWorld’s editors and expert reviewers for the Technology of the Year award. The OpenShift team is deeply honored to have won this award for a second time and we are very proud of all the great work that has been done this past year. We look forward to many more exciting accomplishments in 2016.

Like we mentioned before, this is the second year in a row that we have won this prestigious award. We are particularly proud of consistently pushing the boundaries in technology and being able to create a thriving developer community around our products.
InfoWorld also awarded us with the Best of Open Source Software awards during 2014 and 2013.
In 2014, we were the top pick for best open source application development tools and again named top pick in best open source data center and cloud software.
In 2013, we were included in the top picks for open source data center and cloud platforms, infrastructure, and management tools.
Both industry recognitions clearly play on our strengths and continuous support of the open source community that can be seen in the growth of theOpenShift Commons and the commitment toOpenShift Origin.
OpenShift was awarded Best in Cloud Computing at the 2014 American Technology Awards. The TechAmerica Foundation’s goal is to drive competitiveness of the U.S. technology industry around the world, and we were delighted to be recognized as a leader and innovator in our industry.
