Back by popular demand, the OpenShift for Operators lab session is coming to Red Hat Summit with fresh new content for 2017! We get a full house every year, so if you want in, you need to get registered today. Read on to learn more about Red Hat Summit’s great lab sessions, and in particular, OpenShift for Operators.
The two-hour lab sessions at Summit are a great way to get hands-on with many of Red Hat’s products. The labs are prepared and run by the experts behind these products, both from Red Hat and our greater partner ecosystem. Are you trying to decide if you want to take a full-length course through Red Hat University? Do you want a chance to ask questions directly to the experts? These labs are the place to get answers. I encourage you to get at least one lab session on your schedule, especially if this is your first Summit experience!
For the past few months, we've been developing and refining a deep-dive lab on OpenShift operations and administration. Coming from a development background myself, I know there's plenty of ways to learn about OpenShift's developer experience (including the "Cirque du Application Development" lab which runs right before OpenShift for Operators!). But with this lab, we're bringing some love to the Ops side of the house with a series of exercises that cover the gamut of day-to-day cluster management tasks.
Here's a peek at the table of contents from our lab guide:
We could easily make a multi-day course out of these topics; actually, Red Hat already did! So instead, think of this lab as a two hour jam session with experts straight from the OpenShift team.
We get a full house every year, so if you want to get hands-on with the day-to-day work of running an OpenShift system:
See you at Summit!
