The OpenShift Commons Gathering will gather some of the brightest technical minds in cloud technology to discuss the future of OpenShift and its related upstream open source projects. With OpenShift Container Platform quickly gaining adoption around the world, the OpenShift Commons Gathering will feature talks from upstream project leads and case studies from users across multiple industries and use cases. This event will also include face-to-face meetings for all the OpenShift Commons Special Interest Groups and allow ample time for peer-to-peer networking.

Limited spaces are still available. Register today.

A panel entitled "Upstream This!" will be moderated by Red Hat's Stormy Peters and will include Google's Aparna Sinha, Microsoft's Kris Nova, and Red Hat's Clayton Coleman, Mrunal Patel & Paul Morie—all key contributors to Kubernetes. The panel will give the attendees a unique opportunity for Q & A with the leaders of key Cloud-native open source projects and gain unique perspectives on how their respective projects augment the OpenShift Container platform.

In addition, Red Hat's Daniel Walsh will be giving a talk on the State of the Container Ecosystem and covering the latest on CRI-O, the Open Container Initiative's Kubernetes Runtime.

What is OpenShift Commons?

Commons builds connections and collaboration across OpenShift communities, projects, and stakeholders. In doing so we'll enable the success of customers, users, partners, and contributors as we deepen our knowledge and experiences together.

Our goals go beyond code contributions. Commons is a place for companies using OpenShift to accelerate its success and adoption. To do this we'll act as resources for each other, share best practices and provide a forum for peer-to-peer communication.
