I know what you're thinking, “Didn't OpenShift Online just have
a release two weeks ago?” The answer is yes. Yes we did. We don't
sit around celebrating and eating a pizza after a release. No. We
celebrate by making another release. So, what's going into this release?
One of the big changes is happening behind the scenes to our MongoDB
database. If you're really curious you can check out the git commits on
github: https://github.com/openshift/origin-server. The only real impact
to you once the upgrade is in place is that all new scaled apps will
default with a min scale of 1. You can still use “rhc cartridge
scale” to change that setting.I know what you're thinking, “Didn't OpenShift Online just have

to you once the upgrade is in place is that all new scaled apps will

they were set to previously (most of them were at 2).
We've also altered our captcha setup a bit and it should be easier for new
users to prove they're a human. Speaking of being human, with the new
command line tools, if you type a partial cartridge name, we'll send some
helpful hints your way. We've also added 'rhc app ssh' to the command
line tools to make it even easier to ssh to your gears for
troubleshooting.
We've had the new REST api for quite some time but until this release
we've kept the old API around. As of now the old API is no longer
available and we're all grateful for that. If you've found yourself using
the old API please let us know and we'll help you get up and running on
the REST API, just email openshift@redhat.com.
