Wow! Check out the shape of these cloud stats. Definitely an indicator of the growth of cloud computing, but also the success of OpenShift!
Although we don't share statistics about OpenShift publicly, I was looking at some of the statistics graphed over time today and couldn't resist sharing the shape of the curve in these. OpenShift was launched just over a year ago at Red Hat Summit/JBoss World 2011.
With this year's Red Hat Summit/JBoss World coming up tomorrow in Boston it seemed time to look at how we've done. Everybody likes a graph that goes up to the right!

This kind of PaaS growth is exciting, and I think stands at testament to the powerful platform we've created. Thanks to those in the community and at Red Hat who have helped to create OpenShift, those who give feedback on our Developer Preview, those who are using OpenShift today and thus helping us refine our operational capabilities by throwing us interesting runtime challenges, and those who help to get the word out about OpenShift. We couldn't have come this far without you!
Here's looking forward to the coming year!
