Red Hat Summit will be held soon in Boston, May 23-25, 2023. With it comes a wealth of exciting sessions and events that promise to explore the latest developments in open source technology. Among the many sessions at Summit, several feature Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes.
As part of Red Hat OpenShift Platform Plus, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management provides a comprehensive solution for managing Kubernetes clusters at scale, simplifying management and improving IT security and compliance, while also providing powerful tools for application deployment and lifecycle management.
Here are some of the sessions you can attend:
Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security and Management Roadmap: Security, Compliance, and Governance (May 23, 4:00 PM ET at BCEC Room 156AB)
In this session, you will learn how Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management enable you to automate management, governance and security for your hybrid application platform. You will get an overview of how these solutions help you maintain reliability, consistency and a strong security posture in the face of evolving threats with out-of-the-box guidance for industry best practices as well as the ability to customize to your specific needs.
Compliance as Code: Securing Multicloud Environments (May 24, 1:00 PM ET at BCEC Room 153A)
If you are interested in security best practices, this session is for you. You will see a demonstration of how to manage compliance policies for multiple Kubernetes clusters across disciplines using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security, OpenShift GitOps (Argo CD), and Nirmata’s Kyverno policy engine. You will learn how to design end-to-end solutions for multicloud environments, manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters using GitOps, and implement security best practices in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Supercharge Your Developer Portal with Red Hat Integration (May 24, 2:00 PM ET at BCEC Room 152)
This session is ideal for developers who want to learn more about how Red Hat is helping lower the barrier of entry for getting started with Backstage and providing a rich software catalog through a variety of plugins and integrations. You will be introduced to extension points to the Backstage ecosystem that provide integrations into Red Hat offerings, including single sign-on, Red Hat Quay, and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management. You will also learn how to use the material demonstrated within Backstage environments of your own to jumpstart building developer portals for your teams.
Kubernetes Operational Excellence with GitOps and Red Hat at Morgan Stanley (May 24, 2:00 PM ET at BCEC Room 104A)
Morgan Stanley's Kubernetes Service is a great example of how modern application platforms can foster developer innovation while meeting rigid security and resiliency requirements. This session will show you how Morgan Stanley used a GitOps approach supported by an automation suite of tools to ensure consistency and adherence to investment banking security standards. You will learn how GitOps capabilities give Morgan Stanley the ability to deploy and manage large numbers of clusters at scale, using a small number of engineers to enable features for a large number of clusters.
Bell Canada's Multi-Access Edge Computing Success Story: Declarative GitOps Zero-Touch Provisioning (May 24, 4:00 PM ET at BCEC Room 103)
Bell Canada's multi-access edge computing (MEC) infrastructure is a great example of how modern technology can help businesses streamline their processes. In this session, you will learn how Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management-based declarative GitOps architecture was used to deploy Bell Canada's edge cloud environment using Red Hat OpenShift. You will get an overview of Bell Canada's MEC use case, solution architecture, and the declarative approach for MEC deployments at scale.
Hands-On Lab with Red Hat OpenShift Platform Plus (Three sessions. May 23, 10:30 AM ET at Room 205C. May 24, 10:30 AM ET at Room 203. May 25, 8:00 AM ET at Room 205A)
