When Microsoft and Red Hat work together, great things happen. At OpenShift Commons Gathering, Amsterdam 2023, Bridget Kromhout of Microsoft and Michael McCune of Red Hat detailed some of the changes coming to Kubernetes Cloud Controller Managers.

This included a tour of some of the changes made to the core code that will make it easier to maintain. But it goes even deeper than that: these changes will make it easier for cloud providers to innovate around their Kubernetes implementations.

Check out the video for more information on what the Kubernetes Community has in store.

The OpenShift Commons Gatherings take place all over the world to coincide with events that bring in Kubernetes and cloud-native developers, administrators and architects, allowing users of the OpenShift Platform to communicate their successes to each other and to share their tips and tricks for meeting business challenges along the way.
