In Red Hat OpenShift 4.6, you can now customize list views by managing columns. Pods, nodes, projects, and namespaces list views can all be customized so that you have more control over the data you see on a resource page. Let's take a look at how it works.
To get started, enter a list view and select the Manage columns icon in the toolbar:.
In the modal, you can select columns to appear in your list view or deselect columns to remove from your list view. You will notice two types of columns in the modal that you can add or remove:
As you manage your list view columns, there are a couple things to keep in mind.
In the future, we will explore adding column management to other resource pages. We may also consider enhancing the UI of the column management feature so you can drag and drop columns to reorder them.
