Now that some time has passed and the dust has settled on the merging of Red Hat and IBM, we can see the fruits of the collaboration between our engineering teams. While we could list out the dozens of ways we're collaborating to provide the best open hybrid cloud solutions, IBM itself has done a fairly good job of explaining some of the benefits the company offers customers in the government sector.

Red Hat and IBM see the open hybrid cloud as a path forward for government and health care agencies that require scale, efficiency and security. In fact, IBM has published an excellent blog about its Social Program Management, which runs on Red Hat OpenShift, on the Watson Health Perspectives Blog. Go take a gander!
